After a week off, the 2020 Inven Global Esports Conference has returned in its digital format that the conference pivoted to after the COVID-19 pandemic inhibited the planet’s ability to gather in public spaces. This week’s panel focused on the merchandising and fashion verticals of the esports industry, and also, how the two intersect in a myriad of contexts. HyperX sponsored the panel, as it has with the previous digital installments of IGEC 2020.
The panel was hosted by Inven Global Director of Corporate Strategy Nick D’Orazio, who was joined by four panelists. Lifestyle brand Esports Famous, FlyQuest Designer Phien Le, Cloud9 Director of Apparel & Merch Adrian Gale, and Team Liquid Creative Director of Strategy & Apparel Damian Estrada brought their insight and experience to the discussion of how esports merchandising and esports fashion intersect and how various types of brands in the industry have adapted.
The IGEC 2020 Panel ‘Esports Fashion & Merchandise’ was streamed via Twitter and Periscope, and is still available to be viewed via the Inven Global Twitter, as well as Inven Global’s Youtube channel.
