FGRS hosting photography contest | Lifestyles

There are many chances for residents to take beautiful pictures of the wildlife in Fairfield Glade (FG). Have you taken one that you are especially proud of and would like to share? Neighbors Helping Neighbors Fairfield Glade Resident Services (FGRS) is producing a 2020 calendar using photos taken by the residents of FG.  What a great chance for amateur photographers, and maybe some professional ones, to submit their photos to Neighbors Helping Neighbors and see if theirs is selected to appear in their first calendar.

These photos must have been taken in FG and be representative of the wildlife found in the community. A hard copy (preferably 8 x 10 inch) and a digital copy will be required. Just bring the printed copy to the FGRS office, 4929 Peavine Rd., Ste. 102, before May 1 during regular office hours from 9 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday. They will request the digital copy later. Photographers will be asked to sign a photo release form to allow their pictures to be published. A selection committee will then decide which 13 photos will be used.

The calendar will be released as a fundraiser for Neighbors Helping Neighbors in mid-August. So, come on, join the crowd and let’s see whose pictures make the final cut.
